The Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians meet in the Indian Premier League on Friday at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Mumbai will be eager to regain top spot against a Super Kings side who have experienced a rather miserable 2020 campaign to date.

Sam Curran bounced back from a duck with 22 runs against the Rajasthan Royals, but he will not be happy with his tournament as a whole with the bat. One issue for Curran is that he has been moved around the batting order all campaign.

In their last match, the side from Mumbai lost in a Super Over against the Kings XI Punjab in Dubai on Sunday. Both sides scored 176/6, but it was not to be for the Indians in the end. The Super Over defeat ended the Mumbai Indians' five-match winning streak.

Quinton de Kock scored a splendid 53 off 43 balls against the Kings XI Punjab. The half-century was the South African's third consecutive score of 50 plus and his fourth of the 2020 IPL.
