Phil Salt has impressed, after coming into the squad as replacement for Jason Roy. There’s still room for improvement as captain Shreyas Iyer is yet to kick his season off.

Another player impressing is Andre Russell, with his all-round contributions (64 runs at a SR of 256 and four wickets) has played a major role in giving that extra push.

Nitish Rana was benched in the last game and his replacement Angkrish Raghuvanshi didn’t get to face a ball. Anukul Roy was used as a spinner in place of Suyash Sharma. Kolkata may stick to both those changes and use the same team.
