While it is tempting to back Gujarat to take revenge and win this match, we are staying away from the winners pick. Instead, I am backing Rajasthan Royals to score the most 6s in this match.

Rajasthan Royals have played Gujarat Titans four times in total in the IPL competition with the Titans winning three times. The only exception came in the reverse fixture in Ahmedabad when Rajasthan won by three wickets.

The chase was aced by Shimron Hetmyer’s 56 not out with the southpaw leaving it late to win the game. Sanju Samson (60) and David Miller (46) also had fruitful outings in that game.

Rajasthan Royals have 10 points from nine matches and are 4th in the standings. A win will take them to the top of the table as they are only two points behind leaders Gujarat and have a better run rate. They are coming off a loss though, blitzed by Mumbai in a six-wicket defeat.

Sanju Samson’s men have enjoyed the batting heroics of Yashasvi Jaiswal (428 runs) while Ravichandran Ashwin (13 wickets) and Yuzvendra Chahal (12) have been excellent with the ball.

Despite all the positive effects, Rajashtan still has to address the query around Sanju Samson’s batting position.

Gujarat Titans are top of the table with 12 points after losing to Delhi by five runs in their last match. That stopped a three-game winning run for them.

Shubman Gill is having a great season with the bat (339 runs) while the bowling duties are led by Mohammed Shami (17 wickets) and Rashid Khan (15).

Top-order batting remains the focus especially after Hardik Pandya admitted after the last defeat that he couldn’t get the right impetus. He may come down the order to play his role as a finisher.
