Head to Head
England have won five of their last six T20I matches against Sri Lanka. The 1st T20I of this series ended in a comfortable eight wicket win for England in Cardiff.
England Form
England will be confident of wrapping the series up in the 2nd T20I. They have won eight of their last 12 T20I matches and five of their last six against Sri Lanka.
In the 1st T20 at Sophia Gardens, England bowled first and restricted Sri Lanka to 129 -7. Sam Curran took 2-25 and Adil Rashid 2-17. All the bowlers performed their role really well.
In response, the hosts were in cruise control. Jason Roy scored 36 runs in an 80-run opening partnership with Jos Buttler. Once he was gone, Buttler went on to score 68 not out as England cruised to an eight wicket win with three overs to spare.
England Team News
England will almost certainly rotate a few players for this encounter. They always tend to give the full squad a match in this format.
Sri Lanka Form
Sri Lanka have now lost 10 of their last 11 T20I matches. Every aspect of their game seems a bit short, especially in the batting department where they lack any serious quality.
In the 1st T20 against England in Cardiff, Sri Lanka batted first but never really got going. Danushka Gunathilaka got off to a decent start but was dismissed for 19 runs. Kusal Perera (30) and Dasun Shanaka (50) salvaged some pride as Sri Lanka posted a total of 129.
Other than the above three, no other batsman scored more than nine runs. Sri Lanka were not too much better with the ball but with little scoreboard pressure, it was difficult for them. England cruised home to win by eight wickets.
Sri Lanka Team News
Sri Lanka could look to make a few changes with just 24 hours between the matches. Their batsmen are the most likely to be on the chopping block.

Verdict
The value is on Jos Buttler here who has scored 50+ runs in three of his last four T20I matches. I am backing him to score over 28.5 runs, be England's top run scorer and score the most runs in the match.
Kusal Perera showed glimpses of his best in the 1st T20. He is tipped to strike some form and be Sri Lanka's top run scorer.
