Both sides have been short of middle-order runs which makes it difficult to back any team on a win. Yet, I am putting my money on Australia simply because the scars of a huge loss and an in-form Mitchell Starc are tough to overlook.

While the batters continue to dazzle, it is actually the bowlers who have set their massive win in Vizag. Mitchell Starc has been a menace with his thunderous swing fetching eight wickets in the series.

David Warner stayed out of the second ODI and it remains to be seen if he’s brought into the side, fitness permitting. Glenn Maxwell missed the second ODI due to an injury and his replacement Nathan Ellis bowled well, making life tough for the selectors.
