West Indies and India move to the USA for the final two T20Is of their five-match series as the Indian tour to the Caribbean Islands comes to a close. The fourth T20I will be played at Lauderhill in Florida on Saturday, starting from 8pm IST.

After two losses, India managed to flex their batting muscle in the third T20I to keep the series alive. Yet, they are still on the ropes and need to win the fourth to have any hopes of clinching the series. I am putting my money on India winning this match and taking it to the fifth T20I.

The Windies were off the blocks in sprightly fashion winning the first two matches, which were tight. They held their nerves in both games winning by four runs and two wickets although losing the third by seven wickets.

Nicholas Pooran (128) and captain Rovman Powell (109) have been the leading lights for the hosts with the bat. They have also been their hard hitters smashing seven sixes each.

With the ball, Alzarri Joseph and Romario Shepherd have taken four wickets each for the Windies.

Roston Chase bowled well in the third T20I but if Jason Holder is fit, he could be out of the XI. Batting hasn’t fired but they may resist the temptation to make changes.

India Form

India’s mix of IPL specialists couldn’t get going and were flat in the first two matches. They had enough chances to win both games but were exposed by the lack of batting depth and poor bowling combinations.

The third match win was largely due to Suryakumar Yadav (105 series runs) but it is Tilak Varma (139) who has been their batting star in this series.

With the ball, the spin duo of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal have taken four wickets each with Kuldeep giving runs at just six runs per over.

India’s fast bowlers haven’t been effective in the series which could mean a change. Umran Malik and Avesh Khan are available in the squad and could fancy a game in the place of Arshdeep Singh or Mukesh Kumar.

Both the teams have been unable to run away in the series which is why the results have been close. The Windies would be keen to close out the series but their batting has been found wanting – especially the top-order. India have a slight advantage when SKY gets going and he did find his form in the third match. I am putting my money on the domination to continue here with an Indian win. Put a small wager on Tilak Varma topping the batting charts for the visitors.
