Brisbane Heat made it to their first Big Bash League (BBL) finals four years and their prize is a home match against Adelaide Strikers who are into their fifth finals in the last seven years. This BBL10 Eliminator will be played on Friday at The Gabba.

The Heat finished fourth in the regular season with an even win-loss record, the same as the fifth-placed Adelaide Strikers and only a Bash Boost point differentiating them. The winner will move to Manuka Oval to take on Sydney Thunder in ‘The Knock Out’ on Sunday.

The Heat won six of their last nine matches to improve their fortunes and earn a finals place. This run included three wins out of four at the Gabba, which has certainly helped their run.

Captain Chris Lynn (420 runs, SR 157.30) has been in amazing form ending as the Heat’s best batsman in six of their last seven matches. The star turn came from Marnus Labuschagne (123 runs, six wickets) who has been brilliant in the three matches he played. Mark Steketee (22 wickets) continues to be their bowling spearhead.
