Bengaluru Form
Bengaluru ended an eight-game run without a win when winning 2-0 against East Bengal on Tuesday.
The Blues continued their improvement under interim coach Naushad Moosa as Cleiton Silva's goal and a Debjit Majumder own goal sealed a much-needed win.
Bengaluru have lost just one of their last five matches under Moosa, who replaced the sacked Carles Cuadrat.
They drew against NorthEast United, Odisha and Hyderabad in three of the previous four games.
Against Hyderabad, they gave up a two-goal lead in a 2-2 draw after Chhetri and Leon Augustine Asokan had both scored.
Bengaluru Team News
Bengaluru have lost centre-back Juanan to a hamstring injury for the rest of the season.
Winger Leon Augustine Asokan has been ruled out for the next two to three weeks after picking up an injury against East Bengal.
Full-back Rahul Bheke sits this game out through suspension, but Erik Paartalu returns from a one-game ban.
Chennaiyin Form
Chennaiyin suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Hyderabad on Sunday, making it four games without a win.
Goal in each half from Fran Sandaza and Joel Chianese condemned Chennainyin to a fifth defeat of the season.
Csaba Lazlo's side have won one of their last nine, but last year's beaten finalists remain five points adrift of the top four spot.
It was the eighth time in 15 games that Chennaiyin have failed to score this season. They have found the net 11 times in 15 matches.
Chennaiyin Team News
Chennaiyin welcome back centre-back Enes Sipovic from suspension.
Midfielder Manual Lanzarote is also in line for his first start since joining the club last month. He was signed to replace injured Brazilian playmaker Rafael Crivellaro.
Midfielder Anirudh Thapa has missed the last three games and is unlikely to return to face Bengaluru.
Head to Head
Bengaluru claimed a 1-0 win when the sides met in December. Sunil Chhetri's 56th minute penalty was the difference between the sides.
The victory means Bengaluru now hold a 4-3 advantage over Chennaiyin from eight previous meetings. There has been one draw.
