Bengaluru Form

Bengaluru's unbeaten record was ended in their last game when losing 1-0 to ATK Mohun Bagan. David Williams got the only goal of the game for the reigning champions.

Carles Cuadrat's side had started the season with three wins and three draws, and still sit inside the top four despite the first defeat.

Back-to-back draws against Goa (2-2) and Hyderabad (0-0) were followed by a first win with a 1-0 victory over Chennaiyin.

Bengaluru then drew 2-2 with NorthEast United before defeating Kerala Blasters 4-2 in their most impressive performance of the season.

Bengaluru added their third win of the campaign with a 2-1 victory over Odisha. Sunil Chhetri and Cleiton Silva got the goals, but they were unable to break down ATK in the 1-0 loss.

Jamshedpur Form

Jamshepur were left rueing a controversial decision as they lost 2-1 to Goa on Wednesday. Stephen Eze opened the scoring for Owen Coyle's side, only for Igor Angulo to level from the penalty spot in the second half.

It wasn't the penalty decision that cause controversy. The key incident came when Alex's strike crossed the line off the underside of the bar, but wasn't given. Goa made the most of the repreive with Angulo heading home a 95th minute winner from a corner.

It was a first defeat since Jamshedpur lost their opening game of season the season 2-1 to Chennaiyin.

They had gone on a six game unbeaten run that included a 1-0 win against NorthEast United and a 2-1 victory over reigning champions ATK Mohun Bagan.

Jamshedpur have also drawn with Odisha (2-2), Hyderabad (1-1), East Bengal (0-0) and Mumbai City (1-1). Nerijus Valskis has been key with six goals in eight games.

Team News

Bengaluru's Deshorn Brown was given the nod in attack in the last game, but he failed to fire. Kristian Opseth is likely to be recalled by coach Carles Cuadrat. Spanish defender Fran Gonzalez continues to be frustrated on the bench.

Jamshedpur may consider changes with the quick turnaround since Wednesday's game. But Owen Coyle's hands are tied somewhat with overseas recruits David Grande and Nick Fitzgerald out injured.

Head to Head

There has been very little to split these sides with two wins each and two draws in six Indian Super League clashes. They also drew when meeting in the Durand Cup.

Last season a 0-0 draw was followed by a 2-0 win for Bengaluru.
