Bengaluru started the season with back-to-back draws against Goa and Hyderabad before getting a first win of the campaign in their most recent game against Chennaiyin.

Goals from Brazilian winger Cleiton Silva and Spanish defender Juanan put Bengaluru 2-0 before they conceded twice in 2-2 draw with Goa. A 0-0 draw with Hyderabad followed.

It was another draw next as NorthEast were held 1-1 by Goa. Sylla scored a 40th minute penalty, only for his side to concede an Igor Angulo goal three minutes later.

NorthEast won 2-0 against East Bengal in their latest match. The scoreline flattered Nus' side, who needed a Surchandra Singh own goal and an injury-time strike from Rochharzela to seal the points.
