East Bengal Form

East Bengal made it five games unbeaten with a 1-0 victory over Bengaluru on Saturday.

Marco Steinmann's 20th minute goal proved to be the difference between the sides and lifted East Bengal up to ninth in the ISL table.

Robbie Fowler's side have won two and drawn three of their last five games during the unbeaten run. They have also lost just once in the last seven games.

East Bengal started the run with a 1-1 draw against Kerala and then drew 2-2 with Chennaiyin. They followed that by defeating Odisha 3-1 in a bottom of the table clash.

Ten-man East Bengal earned a point from another 1-1 draw, this time against Goa, before getting the better of Bengaluru.

East Bengal Team News

Robbie Fowler is unlikely to make many changes. Aaron Amadi-Holloway could return in attack in place of Jacques Maghoma.

Kerala Blasters Form

Kerala Blasters bounced back from successive defeats with an entertaining 3-2 victory over Jamshedpur on Sunday.

Kibu Vicuna's side had lost 2-0 to leaders Mumbai City and 4-2 to the previously winless and bottom of the table Odisha in the previous two games.

But second from bottom Kerala came up with the goods against Jamshedpur, despite being reduced to 10-men with the scores level at 1-1.

Costa Nhamoinesu opened the scoring for Kerala in the 22nd minute opener, but they conceded 14 minutes later to a Nerijus Valskis goal.

After the dismissal of Lalruatthara in the 67th minute, two goals from Jordan Murray in quick succession put Kerala 3-1 before Valskis set up a tense finale.

Kerala Blasters Team News

Full-back Lalruatthara is out suspended after his sending off against Jamshedpur.

On what will be his ISL debut, new signing Juande could slot into the defence, rather than his preferred midfield role.

Head to Head

The two sides met for the first time in the Indian Super League last month when sharing the points in a 1-1 draw.

East Bengal led through a Bakary Kone own goal, but conceded a 95th minute equaliser as Jeakson Singh salvaged a point for Kerala.
