East Bengal have moved off the foot of the Indian Super League table followed back-to-back draws, the latest being a 2-2 stalemate against Chennaiyin in their last game.
Robbie Fowler's side found themselves behind twice but two Matti Steinmann equalisers earned a point. It was a third draw in their last four games for the ISL newcomers.
Having started with three straight defeats to ATK Mohun Bagan, Mumbai City and NorthEast United, East Bengal picked up a first point in the ISL courtesy of a 0-0 draw with Jamshedpur.
They lost 3-2 to Hyderabad, before drawing their last two matches. A 1-1 stalemate with Kerala Blasters was followed by the draw with Chennaiyin.
Odisha Form
Odisha ended a four-game losing run with a 2-2 draw against NorthEast United last time, although the result keeps them rooted to the foot of the table.
It has been a tough start to the season for Stuart Baxter's side, who have picked up just two points from seven games.
A draw with Jamshedpur earned the first point, and an equaliser from Cole Alexander sealed a 2-2 draw with NorthEast United. Diego Mauricio was also on the mark in the stalemate.
Odisha have lost to Hyderabad, ATK Mohun Bagan, Mumbai City, Goa and Bengaluru in their winless start to the season.
Team News
Nigerian striker Bright Enobakhare is in line for his debut after joining East Bengal for the remainder of the season. Forward Aaron Amadi-Holloway has still yet to make his first start and could remain sidelined.
Odisha are likely to stick with the same side that earned a draw against NorthEast United. That means Brazilian midfielder Marcelinho will have to make do with a subsitute role having been on the bench in the last four games.
