Hyderabad Form

Hyderabad have drawn their last three matches, but Manolo Marquez's side still occupy a top four spot in the Indian Super League standings.

A 0-0 draw with ISL leaders Mumbai City was followed by a 1-1 draw with bottom side Odisha.

That became three stalemates in a row when they were held 0-0 by Jamshedpur on Sunday.

The Nizams are on a five game unbeaten run in the ISL, which has seen them move into the finals spots.

They produced two four-goal shows to defeat Chennaiyin 4-1 and NorthEast United 4-2 prior to the hat-trick of draws.

Forwards Joel Chinese and Fran Sandaza both made their returns from injury in the draw with Jamshedpur. The latter made an eight-minute cameo from the bench.

Hyderabad have signed goalkeeper Sankar Roy on loan from East Bengal for the rest of the season. Subrata Paul has made a loan switch in the opposite direction.

Midfielder Joao Victor remains out injured, as does forward Nikhil Poojari. Defender Souvik Chakrabarti is absent due to personal reasons.

Bengaluru Form

A change in manager has failed to help Bengaluru find an elusive win in the Indian Super League.

After a run of three straight losses, Carles Cuadrat was relieved of his duties.

But interim coach Naushad Moosa has been unable to find the winning formula, although he has overseen two draws and two defeats.

Moosa picked up a first point in charge when his side drew 1-1 with NorthEast United, before losing 2-1 to a 94th minute Kerala Blasters winner.

The Blues left it late themselves on Sunday as Erik Paartalu headed home an 82nd minute equaliser in a 1-1 draw with bottom side Odisha.

Bengaluru Team News

Forward Leon Augustine Asokan impressed as a second-half substitute against Odisha and is in line to start the game.

The game comes too soon for midfielder Xisco Hernandez, who is completing a two-week quarantine period. His second Bengaluru debut will come next week.

Fellow midfielder Dimas Delgado is also unavailable after returning to Spain for a family emergency. Amay Morajkar will retain his place in the midfield.

Defender Harmajot Khabra remains out with a hamstring strain.

Head to Head

It was back in week 2 of the season that Hyderabad and Bengaluru played out a 0-0 draw. That was just the third meeting between the sides in the Indian Super League.

Last season, the inaugural clash ended a 1-1 draw before Bengaluru took the points with a 1-0 win thanks to Nishu Kumar's goal.

Predictions

Both teams have struggled for wins of late. Hyderabad have drawn three in a row, while Bengaluru have halted their losing stretch with two stalemates in the last three matches.

Having drawn two of the previous three head to heads, there is only one way to go in this game.

  • Hyderabad are unbeaten in their last 5 matches (Indian Super League).
  • Hyderabad have drawn their last 3 matches (Indian Super League).
  • Hyderabad have drawn 2 of their previous 3 matches against Bengaluru (Indian Super League).
  • Hyderabad have seen under 2.5 goals in all 3 previous matches against Bengaluru (Indian Super League).
  • Bengaluru are winless in their last 7 matches (Indian Super League).
  • Bengaluru have drawn 2 of their last 3 matches (Indian Super League).
