Jamshedpur Form

Jamshedpur have lost their last two games - and three of their last four matches - after going down to Kerala Blasters and Goa in the last week.

Owen Coyle's team lost a five-goal thriller against Kerala Blasters last Sunday in a 3-2 defeat.

A double from Nerijus Valskis took his tally to eight for the season, but it was not enough for Jamshedpur.

Having earlier lost 2-1 to Goa in the recent slump in form, Jamshedpur were beaten again by The Gaurs on Thursday.

A Jorge Ortiz double and Ivan Garrido's goal a minute from time inflicted a 3-0 defeat on Jamshedpur.

Jamshedpur Team News

Owen Coyle will consider changes with his side playing their third game in a week.

Alex Lima is suspended after his dismissal against Goa, with Nick Fitzgerald and David Grande set to return from injuries.

NorthEast United Form

Coach Gerard Nus has been sacked after a seven-game winless run for NorthEast United.

Khalid Jamil has replaced him but will have to wait to take charge of his first game with a 14-day quarantine required first. Current assistant coach Alison Kharsyntiew will take charge in the meantime.

A 1-1 draw with Bengaluru on Tuesday cost Nus his job. Luis Machado put NorthEast in front only for Rahul Bheke to level after the break.

Since last winning at the start of December, NorthEast have gone seven games without a win.

They have drawn twice with Bengaluru as well as Chennaiyin and Odisha as well as Bengaluru. They also lost 1-0 to Jamshedpur, 2-0 to ATK Mohun Bagan and 4-2 to Hyderabad.

NorthEast United Team News

NorthEast United have signed striker Deshorn Brown from Bengaluru to replace injured forward Kwesi Appiah, who is out for the season.

Striker Idrissa Sylla missed the draw with Bengaluru through injury, but is fit enough to return.

Head to Head

NorthEast United have never beaten Jamshedpur. Five of seven previous meetings between these two sides have ended in draws, with the other two games going the way of Jamshedpur.

Jamshedpur won the reverse fixture this season 1-0 thanks to Aniket Jadhav's goal. Idrissa Sylla missed a second-half penalty for NorthEast United.

Both sides are struggling for form. With a history of draws, the value lies with another stalemate.
