Kerala Blasters Form
Kerala Blasters' winless start to the season continued when they were held to a 1-1 draw by East Bengal in the last game.
Kibu Vicuna's side looked set for another defeat after Bakary Kone scored an own goal in the 14th minute. But Jeakson Singh saved his side with a 95th minute equaliser.
It is now three draws and three defeats this season for Kerala, who have also picked up points from a 2-2 draw with NorthEast United and a 0-0 stalemate with Chennaiyin.
Kerala have suffered defeats against ATK Mohun Bagan (1-0), Goa (3-1) and Bengaluru (4-2) during their winless start to the ISL campaign.
Hyderabad Form
Hyderabad's unbeaten start to the came to an end when they were beaten by Mumbai City 2-0 last time out. Vignesh Dakshinamurthy and Adam Le Fondre goals sealed the points for the league leaders.
Manuel Roca's Hyderabad had enjoyed a five-game unbeaten run to start the campaign, and seven matches in total having avoided defeat in the final two games of last season.
They started the season with a 1-0 win over Odisha before recording three successive draws against Bengaluru (0-0), Jamshedpur (1-1) and ATK Mohun Bagan (1-1).
A second win of the season was secured in an entertaining 3-2 victory over East Bengal. A double from Aridane and a Halicharan Narzary earned the victory.
Head to Head
The sides met for the first time last year and it was a win each during the 2019/20 Indian Super League season. Hyderabad won 2-1 at home before Kerala Blasters gained revenge with a 5-1 thrashing in the reverse fixture.
Team News
Kerala Blasters forward Jordan Murray was dropped to the bench against East Bengal, but could return to the starting line-up as Kibu Vicuna searches for goals from his side.
Hyderabad's overseas contingent - Spanish midfielder Lluis Sastre and forward Fran Sandaza and Australian forward Joel Chianese - have been absent with injuries. All three are doubts once again.
