Kerala Blasters Form

Kerala Blasters let a two-goal lead slip as they lost 3-2 to ATK Mohun Bagan in a topsy-turvy game on Sunday.

Gary Hooper's stunner and Costa Nhamoinesu's goal put Kerala in command. But they conceded three times in the last half-hour.

The loss ended a five-game unbeaten run for Kibu Vicuna's team, in which they won twice and drew three matches.

The Tuskers defeated Jamshedpur 3-2 and Bengaluru 2-1. They drew 1-1 with Goa and East Bengal and 0-0 with Jamshedpur.

Kerala Blasters Team News

Facing a third game in week, Kibu Vicuna may consider changes - particularly defensively after the late collapse against ATK.

Defensive midfielder Bakary Kone was left on the bench against Mohun Bagan, but could return to bolster the rearguard.

Striker Subha Ghosh is still unavailable due to an ongoing investigation into his transfer from ATK Mohun Bagan.

Mumbai City Form

Leaders Mumbai City lost for only the second time this season on Saturday as NorthEast United completed the double over the Islanders.

Since losing to NorthEast in their opening game, Mumbai had gone on a 12-game unbeaten run - winning nine of them.

But Sergio Lobera's side were beaten 2-1 on Saturday. Deshorn Brown struck twice for NorthEast before Adam Le Fondre got a late consolation.

Mumbai have won one of their last four matches having been held to draws by Hyderabad and Chennaiyin. The win came in a 1-0 success over East Bengal.

As a result, Mumbai's lead at the top has been cut to three points.

Mumbai City Team News

Adam Le Fondre scored from the bench against NorthEast United and is expected to come back into the starting line-up.

Mumbai City lose Ahmed Jahouh to suspension, but his absence will be plugged by Rowllin Borges as he returns from a one-game ban.

Anirudh Thapa is a chance to return to the Islanders squad.

Full-back Sarthak Golui and midfielder Sourav Das have left to join East Bengal on loan for the rest of the season.

Head to Head

Mumbai City hold a 5-2 head to head advantage over Kerala Blasters. Six of the 13 meetings have ended in a draw.

The Islanders won 2-0 earlier in this ISL season. Adam Le Fondre and Hugo Boumous scored in the first 11 minutes before the latter missed a second-half penalty.

Predictions

Kerala Blasters will be wounded by Sunday's loss and I'm tipping Mumbai City to bounce back from their own weekend defeat. It was only a second defeat of the season for ISL leaders and they hold an excellent record against the Blasters.

  • Kerala Blasters have won 1 of their last 5 matches (Indian Super League).
  • Kerala Blasters have conceded most goals this season with 25 in 15 matches (Indian Super League).
  • Mumbai City have won 3 of their last 4 matches against Kerala Blasters (Indian Super League).
  • Mumbai City have won 9 of their last 13 matches (Indian Super League).
  • Mumbai City have conceded 7 goals in their 14 matches this season (Indian Super League).
