Kerala Blasters Form

Having taken four points from their previous two games, Kerala Blasters' improvement in form was halted last time when they lost 2-0 to leaders Mumbai City.

Kibu Vicuna's side found themselves 2-0 down inside 11 minutes as Adam Le Fondre scored from the penalty spot and Hugo Boumous doubled the lead. Boumous also missed a second half penalty for Mumbai.

Prior to that, Kerala drew 1-1 with East Bengal and the got their first win of the season with a 2-0 victory over Hyderabad. Goals from Abdul Hakku and Jordan Murray sealed the points.

The Blasters have also drawn with NorthEast United (2-2) and Chennaiyin (0-0) this season as well as lost 1-0 to ATK Mohun Bagan, 3-1 to Goa and 4-2 to Bengaluru.

Odisha Form

Odisha remain winless and adrift at the foot of the table after losing the battle of the bottom sides. Stuart Baxter's side lost 3-1 to fellow strugglers East Bengal.

First-half goals from Anthony Pilkington and Jacques Maghoma put East Bengal 2-0 up, and Bright Enobakhare scored a third two minutes from time. A Danny Fox own goal in injury time was a small consolation for Odisha.

Goals have been a problem for Odisha with just six scored in eight games this season. Four of them have come in the last three games, a 2-1 defeat to Bengaluru and a 2-2 draw with NorthEast United.

That point remains Odisha's only one gained in the last six matches. They have also lost 1-0 to ATK Mohun Bagan, 2-0 to Mumbai City and 1-0 to Goa during the run of five losses in six games.

Team News

Kerala Blasters may still be without defender Bakary Kone and forward Gary Hooper for the clash with Odisha. Both have missed the last two matches.

Attacking midfielder Juande is still in quarantine after signing as a replacement for the injured Sergio Cidoncha.

Odisha boss Stuart Baxter needs to get striker Manuel Onwu firing if the club are to solve their goalscoring problems. Brazilian midfielder Marcelinho has been left on the bench for the last five games and will hope for a start.

Head To Head

Kerala Blasters and Odisha have both won four times in 14 previous head to heads, with six draws.

Both games last season ended in stalemates. A 0-0 draw was followed by a eight-goal thriller as Kerala came from 4-2 down to seal a point with two goals in the last eight minutes.
