Mumbai City Form

Mumbai City ended a three-game losing run with a 1-0 victory over Goa in their latest ISL match on Wednesday.

Adam Le Fondre struck home from the penalty spot in the 95th minute as Mumbai made heavy weather of getting the better of 10-man Goa.

Sergio Lobera's Mumbai City started the new season with a 1-0 defeat to NorthEast United in their opening game. A 49th minute penalty from NorthEast United striker Kwesi Appiah proved to be the difference between the sides.

Midfielder Ahmed Jahouh is available again after missing the win over Goa through suspension.

Japanese winger Cy Goodard impressed against Goa after coming into the side. That could mean Nigerian striker Bartholomew Ogbeche having to make do with a place on the bench again.

East Bengal Form

There was no dream debut in the Indian Super League for East Bengal as they lost the Kolkata derby 2-0 to ATK Mohun Bagan on Friday.

Robbie Fowler's side dominated possession against the reigning ISL champions and created 12 chances. But they conceded at either end of the second half with Roy Krishna and substitute Manvir Singh getting the goals.

East Bengal agreed to step up to the ISL in September after finishing runners-up in the I-League last season.
